Hi welcome to my cat blog. This is where Me and my cat Taylor write useful tips and advice to look after your cat. Today we're going to meet Taylor and I will show you how to welcome your cat into your home. Taylor is a black and white tabby cat we got from the RSPCA. He's 11 months old and is an amazing kitten. And if your looking for a cat of your own the RSPCA have a lot of options anyway. When we took Taylor home we set up everything and showed him where it was. (cat bowl, litter tray, cat food, toys and were to sleep). All bought from pets at home. We then closed the door where we wanted Taylor to be a lot of the day (good idea to stay in the room). If you stay in the room you'll noticed that your cat will sniff around a lot so I would not disturb your cat. if your cat come's over to sleep or play just let them get on with it help them as much as possible. Eventually you can open up for them to go upstairs, we did'nt let our cat outside for 6 weeks but you can let them outside at 4 weeks if you feel there ready. after they've finished sniffing around play with them put some food in there bowl then set up a timetable for when they get food are feeding times for Taylor are 6am-7am 12am-1pm and 6pm-7pm. when it comes night time be sure that your cat's okay and if you need to let them sleep near you (also close off any doors that you don't want your cat to get into).
My plans are to do a blog every Sunday or when something amazing happens.
